Inground Systems – Irrigation Installation Terms & Conditions

Scope of Work

Inground Systems will supply labor and materials necessary to install the irrigation system described in the approved estimate. Any additional work requested outside the original proposal may require a written change of order and additional charges.

Scheduling & Access

Customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the property, water supply, electrical source, and work areas during installation. Installation dates are estimates and may change due to weather, material delays, or unforeseen site conditions.

Locate Utilities

Inground Systems will contact  utility  services prior to excavation. Customer is responsible for identifying and marking any private utilities or items not covered by public utility locating services, including but not limited to:

• Invisible dog fences 
• Private electrical lines 
• Landscape lighting wires 
• Septic systems 
• Drain lines 
• Cable lines installed after original utility service 

Inground Systems is not responsible for damage to unmarked private utilities.

Property Conditions

Reasonable care will be taken to minimize disturbance to lawn and landscaping. Some settling, seed loss, discoloration, or minor lawn damage may occur following installation. Customer is responsible for lawn restoration after installation.

Payment Terms

• A deposit may be required prior to scheduling. 
• Balance is due upon completion.

Warranty – One Year Parts Warranty

Inground Systems provides a one (1) year limited warranty on manufacturer-defective irrigation parts installed by our company beginning on the date of installation completion.

Warranty Includes

• Replacement of defective manufacturer parts supplied and installed by Inground Systems      
• Standard irrigation components including heads, valves, fittings, and controllers      determined to be defective under normal use 

Warranty Does Not Cover

• Freeze  damage 
• Damage  caused by lawn equipment, vehicles, pets, construction, or misuse 
• Acts  of nature including lightning, flooding, or storms 
• Electrical surges or power-related damage  
• Damage caused by third parties or other contractors 
• Repairs or modifications made by others 

Manufacturer Warranties

Certain components may also carry separate manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer warranty terms are subject to each manufacturer’s policy.

Limitation of Liability

Inground Systems shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages including  plant loss, erosion, utility interruption, or property damage beyond the original contract value.

Acceptance

Approval of the estimate/proposal and scheduling of work constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions
